By creating an account and using Duezy ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Duezy is operated by Duezy Finance, United States.
Duezy is a personal finance application for tracking bills, income, spending, savings goals, debts and budgets. Depending on your plan it also provides household features for sharing a budget with others, and business features including double-entry bookkeeping, business accounts and invoicing.
You may use Duezy for your own personal finances and for a business you own or operate. You may not resell Duezy, or provide it as a service to third parties, without our written permission.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential, and for activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe someone else has access to it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Duezy.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, is used unlawfully, or is used to abuse the service.
Trial. Duezy offers a 10-day free trial. No payment method is required to start it, and it does not convert into a paid subscription automatically. When the trial ends, access to paid features simply stops until you choose to subscribe.
Subscriptions. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance through Stripe, at the price shown when you subscribe. Unless you cancel, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period.
Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from the Settings screen. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
Refunds. Payments are generally non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. If something has gone wrong, contact us — we would rather sort it out than stand on this clause.
Price changes. We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you before the change affects your subscription, and you can cancel if you do not want to continue.
You may optionally connect a bank account. That connection is provided by Stripe, and is subject to Stripe's terms as well as these. We never receive your banking username or password.
Connected data comes from your bank via Stripe, and can be delayed, incomplete or wrong for reasons outside our control. You are responsible for checking anything important against your bank directly. You can disconnect at any time from the Bank Sync screen.
If you create or join a household, the members of that household can see the financial data shared within it. Only invite people you intend to share that information with. If you own a household, you are responsible for who you invite to it.
You keep full ownership of the financial data you put into Duezy. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising. How it is handled, and every company involved in handling it, is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Deleting your data. You can delete your account, and everything in it, at any time from the Settings screen.
Getting a copy of your data. Email privacy@duezy.finance and we will provide an export. We will respond within the time the law allows, and in any case within 30 days.
You agree not to misuse the App, attempt to access other users' data, interfere with the service or its security, use it for any unlawful purpose, or attempt to circumvent usage or spending limits. You agree not to reverse engineer, copy or redistribute the App or its code.
Duezy is a tool for organising your own information. It is not financial, tax, accounting, investment or legal advice, and using it does not create a professional relationship.
This applies to the business and bookkeeping features in particular: they help you keep records, but they do not make those records correct, compliant, or suitable for filing. You are responsible for your own accounts and returns, and you should use a qualified professional where it matters.
AI-generated suggestions can be wrong. Treat them as a starting point, never as an answer.
Duezy is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any calculation, projection or imported figure is accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Duezy Finance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any lost profits, lost data, missed payments, fees or charges, arising from your use of the App or from decisions made using it.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply only as far as the law permits.
We may change or discontinue features. We may update these Terms; if a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Duezy after that means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, where Duezy Finance is organised, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing here removes any right you have under the consumer protection laws of the place you live.
